Carpenter to hang 11 new internal doors into existing wooden doorframes. I will supply new doors (Hume honeycomb H1) and hardware. Work needed is to hang / install them, including adjusting dimensions etc, installing the levers, latch, hinges etc. Three of them will require gluing the timber reinforcement back in after cutting the height down because more than 20mm will be cut off the door height of a hollow door.

My mother (82 yrs) is hosting my sister at her house for lunch who has brain damage and is in an electric wheelchair. She has a step approximately 125mm high into the house through some sliding doors. I need someone to build an access ramp out of say 16mm ply or similar approx 1200mm wide, 125mm high and approx 800 deep. Hi All, I’m looking for someone with carpentry experience to assist with a small custom build. My balcony pictured below is large but noisy, as such, I’m hoping to screen it off. Unfortunately stand-alone screens aren’t tall enough or able to stay upright on their own. As such I’m hoping to build a wooden box, ledge, or whatever, which has slots in it to match the legs of the screen pictured below, to run along the floor at a height of 70cm. This way the screen will be locked into the slots, and will sit near the top of the balcony opening, which will mitigate the noise better. There will also have to be some kind of wooden ‘hook or claw’ to fasten the screen to the balcony in the case of wind. Very open to ideas and alternatives on how to achieve the effect of noise reduction. Flexible on time, will have to order / buy the screen beforehand I will buy all required materials Cheers, Darcy
