I did flooring myself and need some experienced carpenter to install scotia skirting. And also i did some mistake on the flooring.. required some expertise opinion.

Looking for a carpenter to help me out with a task to repair my back deck. It's really a damage assessment and mitigation job at the moment. In short, I’ll ask you to: 1) pry up the nailed boards from part of the deck, without damaging the boards, and remove the nails. Please bring the right tools. 2) Advise on what short term repairs can be done so we can once again walk on an area of the deck where joists have rotted away, and discuss a few more related issues like ventilation under the deck. 3) If the repair can be done by you, we can discuss it at that point and extend the job. But it’s really about getting the boards up and assessing the damage at the moment. Long story: Part of our deck is built over an old concrete stair, and we realise now the untreated joists sitting on this concrete structure have been getting very wet over the years and rotted away. The deck is still structurally sound for the moment, but we will likely replace the whole thing in the future. I’ve been quoted for expensive repairs, but I’m hoping to do something much less involved and save the money to eventually replace the whole deck. (Sorry if you already responded to a ‘deck’ job from me already – Airtasker mistakenly removed the last task, and the requirements have somewhat changed anyway).
