so we renovated our kitchen a while back and changed the kitchen benchtop. however the guys who installed it did a terrible job and made the surface area smaller. we tried complaining to him but he took the money and disappeared and never bothered to fix it again. we thought we could adjust and use the benchtop but it has become too hard to cook on the stove as there is not much surface and cant fit pots and pans on the stove as there is not much surface area. the gap they haved missed is highlighted on the image.Can anyone help with kitchen benchtop

Upgrade existing wardrobes in 3 rooms. See details below for each room. Room 1: Wardrobe size 2400 high x 1700 wide x 550 deep Room 2: Wardrobe size 2400 high x 1600 wide x 550 deep Room 3: Install 5 drawers. Change a supporting wooden beam under a 7 meter balcony, the wooden beam is sported by 3 wooden beams columns, the balcony needs to first be supported by braces, then the vertical wooden beam replaced and positioned on top of the 3 wooden beam columns, then the balcony braces gets taken away.
