Is there a carpenter or handyman around Byford who can trim about 5–10mm off four wooden doors

Hi, I'm planning to install an IKEA oven cabinet (METOD / MAXIMERA) into an existing brick wall cavity. The cabinet I bought is 60cm wide while the oven cavity is 61-62cm and the side gaps need to be filled. The cabinet height (including oven) is 82cm and the cavity is 96cm so an extra panel should cover this gap. The bottom of the cavity is uneven and the cabinet at the moment is sitting at an angle. The oven cavity is open to the roof and I would like to have a panel (I can provide this) covering the IKEA cabinet to make it an enclosed box. I’m not sure what the work involved would be, so I’m happy to discuss the quote in further details.

Shoe cabinet to be designed and built In garage

The job is a new timber deck 3m x 9m. The framework and deck timbers to be built and laid extending our existing verandah. The old timber verandah floor to be repaired in a couple of spots. There is access through a side gate and easy working access. Removal of approx 2sqm of concrete and 4sqm of timber deck. pic 1 existing verandah we would like to extend. pic 2 concrete to be removed pic 3 existing temp deck to be removed & rebuilt pic 4 verandah boards to be repaired/replaced pic 5 another angle of existing temp decking.

I want to install a dishwasher and no space in the existing kitchen . So need to do some work to make a space for it.

Decking requires sanding and filling cracks and then staining

Need wardrobe door tops gently planed and then capped with pine timber stripping( doors were cut lower and exposing internal stuff ). Doors also need extra hinge added to top of both doors (needs wood router for the hinge hole), as they are a bit loose. Need an MDF panel (1440mm W x 535mm H x 16mm D) mounted and securely screwed above wardrobe doors. This is painted and ready to go up. Must be today due to a deadline. Must be an experienced handyman/ cabinetmaker/carpenter who is qualified, punctual, professional and efficient. Most of the work has been done so it's just touching up work on the doors and help securing the panel mounted and screwed into the timber, as it needs to hold an aircon unit 15kg. I have a small work bench and clamps on-site. What you need to supply: 2 wardrobe cupboard hinges, a planer, a wood router, timber stripping 25mm wide x 713mm long per door, and wood glue. Timber screws that can either be drilled through the mdf into the timber frame, or used in 90 degree angle brackets. If you are organised and efficient estimated work time: 90-120min max.

We have a built-in cabinet above our fridge comprised of an open shelf in the top half, and smaller storage partitions in the bottom half for wine bottles. FYI, the whole unit does not appear to be particular well secured. We want to reduce the height of the bottom storage partitions (or remove that row altogether?), to create additional space so that a new, taller fridge can be accommodated underneath. There is currently 1782mm of clearance from the bottom of the built-in cabinet to the floor. This needs to increase to at least 1810mm. We’re indifferent as to whether the existing cabinet is amended/reused vs a new replacement supplied, so long as we can gain the extra height we need for the new fridge, the colour is similar enough, and the thing is structurally sound and properly secured.

Relocate and adjust cabinets to allow for the installation of an existing dishwasher. 1. Relocate drawers to beneath stovetop (Red in Image) 2. Create small fill panel (or cupboard if feasible) 3. Install Dishwasher in Blue area (Beko BDF1410W) 4. Additional Water offtake for Dishwasher required (tap into existing water supply under sink) 5. Reduce size of cupboards (Green) Power outlet close by in corner cupboard (in cabinet under microwave). Have confirmed the drawers depth will git with existing gas supply under stove. Installation to utilise existing cabinets to ensure seamless installation. Dishwasher is not built in, so standard installation required. Can send more images if required.

Replace wooden stairs. One is rotting, another is cracked. Quote for all 4, give me a nice looking treated wood instead of this painted crap!

I need to replace the 3 x rotted timber (approx 1.2m) in the clothing hanging area. Could you please follow these steps: 1. Measure the existing timber to ensure accurate sizing. 2. Unbolt and remove the rotted timber. 3. Visit Bunnings to source and order the appropriate replacement timber for outdoor purpose, ensuring it’s cut to the correct dimensions. 4. Install the new timber securely in place. Your attention to detail is greatly appreciated.
