These pieces will serve as temporary inserts to create a flat wooden surface, level with our countertop, for photoshoots. We’d like two separate inserts in different colours. The task involves: Assembling several wooden floorboard pieces into one solid, stable board (e.g., gluing or another secure method). Measuring and carving the combined board to fit snugly around the stove. Ensuring the finished piece is level with the surrounding countertop. Sanding or finishing the edges (if needed) for a clean and professional look. Materials provided: Wooden floorboard tiles in two colours. What you’ll need to bring: All necessary tools and equipment for assembly, carving, and finishing. We need some help with our Bunnings Kaboodle kitchen bench top. - We have two slabs of hevea wood, 2400 x 600 x 36mm. - These slabs need to be cut to size (plan with measurements attached) - Two cutouts are needed, one for the sink and the other for the cooktop - We will need to stain and seal the bench top after it is cut, so we will conduct the actual joining. So all we need is for the bench to be cut with appropriate joins prepared. We are hoping to have this done before this Sunday, and can work around your schedule if you are available at any point this week! Pls refer to the images attached for details Long story short the cabinets are pretty old and cheap but this is what I’m doing so before anyone tells me to replace them etc. I don’t want to hear it lol. Read da job and decide if you can do it or not. I will reimburse/transfer the cost of all additional consumables and materials bits bobs required to finish this. 1. REPLACE MDF PIECE - under the sink had a leak that’s now been repaired but unfortunately I let it go on for long enough for the water damage to rot that base board part. I’ve removed it and gotten a new piece of MDF cut to exact size to replace it. I was going to use furniture brackets to drill in and use to support the new piece but those got moved to storage so it’s easier if you get some new ones or whatever idea you think will work to hold up an 80cm x 60 cm piece of MDF 2. PAINT BASE CABINETS - Finish/go over my amazing midnight manic piece of work I started. Primer and paint provided. Oil base. Should have some sand paper and rollers/paint brushes left behind but get what you need from Bunnings. 3. Readjust the new door hinges I did a meticulous job guesstimating with the drill. They’re not exactly level and the one with the drawers overlaps the door part so you can’t open it properly lol. The doors will fit. Just needs fine tuning 4. ATTACH HANDLES - easy part 5. FINISH STICKY TILES - easy part WORK BENCH: Yeah idk. It’s an antique/vintage timber bench and thought I’d fill in the groove markings and gaps to make a flat even sealed surface more appropriate for food preparation area so I poured Agnew’s Water Putty to level the gaps and didn’t quite think through what my next move would be. I would say it can probs be mostly removed with a sand and a simple cleaning and sealing of the timber would suffice. Make it look acceptable.

I'm having a new screen door installed, and the bottom track of the door needs to be recessed into my timber floor. As such I need a carpenter to cut my existing white oak flooring (and two skirting boards) along the length of an existing 3.2m wide bifold door. The cut section will be approximately 3.2 meters wide, and 100mm wide. In addition to that, I need to ensure that the joists beneath this section are also cut down to a depth of 50mm from the top of the floor. So the total section to be removed from the floor will be 3.2 meters, by 100mm wide, by 50mm deep. I've drilled a few holes in the floor in this section so I can tell that there is at least this much clearance available and you're not going to hit a concrete subfloor. The skirting boards along both walls that bracket this doorway will also need to have 93mm trimmed from them in the same location that the floor below is being cut. Both the skirting boards and the floor have been marked where they need to be cut. I'll also need someone to come back once the screen has been installed to add a ~10mm cork section to provide a seal between where the floor has been cut, and the 90mm wide screen door track.

I've managed to sand through the veneer on this entertainment unit (Whoops!). I would like someone to assist me in refitting a new piece of veneer to the top panel of the entertainment unit. The size of the panel is 127cm x 30 cm. I think the rest of the unit might be made of Teak - I am trying to source a sheet of teak veneer but don't have the know how to attach the veneer.

Hi, I'm looking for a handyman or carpenter to build a daybed extension. This is the first project in a few that are needed. The house is a terrace house in Surrey Hills. There is no parking, but street parking is not an issue.  Scope: -Move existing day bed forward extend from the back of the testing structure.  - Extend an existing daybed bench from a depth of 156 cm to 250 cm -Construct a frame to extend the platform and add a piece of timber on top of both platforms.  -Cut the tember top to fit the daybed inside the new frame.Measure the space and suggest suitable wood panel options (material cost not included). -Vaneer refurbishment of existing daybed.
