Find experienced local carpenters in Taringa

I have the wood available - I just need a chippie who could put up some shelving in my single garage at my apartment building. I have a pic of the wood I’d like used attached - it’s sitting down in the garage not being used and I could really do with some shelving in there for storage.

I have two very large wooden sleepers that I need cut to size to be able to transport to my business. I live in an apartment complex; however I have access to a large loading dock at the back of the building which has power. I don't have any tools or equipment to perform the job!

We are wanting to stain the wooden floor of our carport (and the small deck that leads into the house) so that it is all one uniform colour. Carport wood is untreated, and the strain near the front door has nearly gone. There are some white paint splotches than we would need your help to sand off, but I can also assist with this if need be. We have a deck straining brush (long handle) and will provide the stain. We don’t need it sanded back, the wood is untreated so should just be ok to be stained as is.

I have some 5mm thick slip resistant fibreglass stair treads and floor coverings. They need to be cut precisely to size to fit my staircase. To do this job you need tools (e.g. jigsaw), protective equipment (e.g. face mask) and excellent skills in precise cutting of fibreglass. I need you to collect the materials from my house, do the cutting at your place and then return the finished product. I will give you a detailed cutting plan with exact measurements (down to the mm). And I will give you a detailed description of the materials (with photos). You need the tools and precise cutting and fibreglass handling skills to do this job. You'll also need to have a trailer/trick or roof racks to safely transport the materials . My guess is that someone with these skills and tools could do all the cuts in 1 day. Looking to get a custom made reception desk for my studio. I have a mock up drawing of what I’m looking to get as well as description. 100cm tall 110cm long 50cm deep I would like it sturdy enough and to have some internal shelves on the inside. With the front top and one side with black tile like pictured. My budget shown is ideally what I’d like to spend so if you can do the job with that I’d really appreciate it. I have 2 airconditioner condenser units on my balcony (see photo) A possum wants to live in the space behind and has started to eat the cable covers and generally make a mess. I need someone to build a custom 3 sided timber slat cover around them to keep possum out and enable me to safely run the units. The space is a bit awkward so a store bought unit i won't work. I would buy the materials but need someone to design and build the unit. I have an idea to use some prefab components like ikea ivar for example to make the work a bit simpler.Job would suit a handyman, carpenter or cabinetmaker

We have an external timber staircase. It's in good shape but one of the supporting timber joists needs replacing due to water damage. Not urgent and only minor, but still needs replacing. It's probably about 1.5 metres long. And it's about 2-3m above the ground. Easy to access. You would need to be a skilled carpenter or builder with experience doing this sort of thing.

I have solid wood benchtops to be cut, scribed and fitted in a renovated kitchen. L shaped, 1 mason mitre needed. Size is 2.4 one leg, other leg is 2.1, plus an 800 island. Hole cut for sink required. I'll seal and stain prior to final fit Walls are cement, cabinets are IKEA

Hi Airtasker, I'd like to get a job done to supply and install an internal door + an external door and other necessary materials. - The external door to be installed on the pathway to the house, it will need extention panel as you can see in the photo - The internal door will need some cutting job, as the door frame is shorter than the standard height Please provide a quote for the above job. (Also I may need some rough estimation for a two panel door 1800(H)x1200(W) for a garage - decided not include in this quote as still exploring options)

Could I please request a quote to repair my West Elm mango timber, burnt wax, 6 seater dining table. Hot bowls have been placed on either side of the table and caused the faded patches and there's scratches into the two corners and a couple of other minor scrapes. Table dimensions: 183 cm Table Overall: 183 cm w x 99 cm d x 76 cm h. Clearance under table: 74 cm. Distance between legs: 98 cm. Overhang: 34 cm. Top thickness: 2.5 cm. I'm located in Taringa.
