I have two cabinets that I would like to join as one my removing a piece of the frame between them. Below is a photo of the cabinets with some colour coding to explain what I would like to do. I would like to adjust the cabinets so the green rectangle is one open space. This likely requires: 1) changing the hinges on the door (purple line) so that I opens left to right, rather then right to left as it does currently 2) remove the frame between the two cabinets (blue line) to open this space.

I had kitchen cabinets changed Two years ago. It is a a kitchenette that is attached to the wall on one side and has wood panel the other side. One cabinet on the wood side has a gap. My friend put more screws in, but it still has a gap. I would like it confirmed if still safe or needs further repairs please.
