I suspect my bathroom doorframe and maybe wall has carpenter ants in it and I need someone who is experienced in removing them to inspect and kill any infestation so the wall and frame can be repaired (would be amazing if I could find someone who could do both). The frame has water damage from previously being connected to the bathroom slab without a silicone buffer and there are dead ants around the unit every morning which is why I suspect this is what is happening. I’m unsure how much something like this usually costs so I just put a random number in the budget. - Due date: Flexible

Some of the timber battens framing the underside of our house need replacing. Job entails: - removing damaged sections (we think there are 7-8 in total) - creating new frames using hardwood, treated exterior timber - frames must match size and style of existing battens (about 20mm thick, 75mm wide boards, but best if you measure the existing boards first!) - where relevant, nails countersunk to prepare for painting (we will be painting the frames) - new frames installed back in place securely - removing and then attaching new lock + hinges for gate (one of the sections is a simple gate for under-house access) Happy to discuss job further in person, or to provide more info via Airtasker. Note the house is low set, therefore the largest batten is about 1300mm high. Some sections are very small, e.g 500mm high. We have estimated total lineal metres to be replaced is 32 metres but it could be less (as some sections have some battens that are still in ok condition and could be reinstated?).

Looking for a cabinet maker to install a few doors in an existing walk in pantry and shorten an existing bench.
