We had some water that came through the roof. The insurance company cut out a 3.5 x 3.5m section of carpet in the middle of the room. We just want some temporary carpet to last 4 years until we can redo the the the room. It will need a 3m steel strip across the middle (to join the existing carpet) & a steel strip of 93cm to join carpet to the walk in part of the room It will need some underlay too. Hi, I need someone to lay carpet in my bedroom and adjacent walk-in robe. Approx 360cm × 455cm total, but bedroom is 360 x 325, and WIR is 210 x 110. I have a piece of carpet 366cm x 665cm. I also have underlay. There are still wood strips with nails from previous carpet, but not sure if they can be reused or if they are even needed. I don't have any other materials or tools. The bedroom is already empty and ready for laying. It might be a 2 person job because the carpet is quite heavy.
