There still are the timber strips which we can also remove or retain if useful. Sub floor is concrete. All chains don’t want to know us if we aren’t buying the carpet from them. I got woolen carpet layed about a year ago and unfortunately my dogs urinated on it as soon as we received it. They were fine with the carpet we had prior so this has been really disappointing. Because it’s wool, it has left awful yellow stains. There are about 5 different parts in my home where there are affected areas. I have tried calling out carpet cleaning companies to get it out but no luck. It actually needs to be replaced. Luckily, I have left over carpet from when they layed it. I’m pretty sure I have enough to replace the affected areas, but I need someone to come out to let me know for sure, and if it is enough to do the job for me. A professional carpet layer is what I’m needing.
