Doggo hs chewed a patch of carpet in our rental. Need help repairing if possible - Due date: this week, weekend or next week.

We have just laid carpet, however it is too thick for the current doors to work properly and so need them shortened to make them fit. There are five bedroom doors and one wooden sliding door. I would estimate around 5mm would need to be taken off each door, but that is a best guess. I have taken the doors off already for the work to commence.
