Shortening doors to fit with new carpet

We have just laid carpet, however it is too thick for the current doors to work properly and so need them shortened to make them fit. There are five bedroom doors and one wooden sliding door. I would estimate around 5mm would need to be taken off each door, but that is a best guess. I have taken the doors off already for the work to commence. The sliding door will also need a small rail ie 2cms put onto the carpet to guide the sliding door from floating outwards - Due date: Before Friday, 8 July 2022
