We are a small cafe in Docklands, we would like to install a ceiling fan (we will purchase) in our front of house. We have existing power from existing lights and other ceiling devices, and the fan will include a remote, so no separate power line or switch is expected: please advise. Must hold REC and must provide an SWMS; on completion must provide a COES: these are requirements of our landlord and building for all contractors and can not be waived. Hello, I am looking to install 2 x Fanco Infinity iD DC 137cm ceiling fans for my 1970s-built double brick apartment with a concrete slab ceiling. Our bathroom fan stopped working. I don’t know why but it is old and also requires replacing anyway. Seeking someone to replace current fan and fix fault as to why current fan isn’t responding when turned on if replacement doesn’t fix this. BYO replacement fan, ladder and equipment to fix.

I am installing two ceiling fans and need an electrician to do the work to get power to them from the lighting circuit. I will install the fans into their positions and leave the ceiling open for you to do the connection. The ceilings have down lights at several locations so there will be power nearby where the fan will be. I understand there needs to be an isolator switch installed for the fans. I don't need a swich to contol the fans as such because they are DC units that include a remote control. So what I need done is to have a "switch multiplier" added to the existing lights at one of the downlight points to deliver power to the fan and a wall switch put in place next to the existing light switch. Assuming that's the case - I just need the multiplier installed and wall switch installed and the fans themselves connected. I'll source the multiplier and wall plate so the job is essentially just labour. I am unsure how much labour is involved in this job so the price I've put on this is a best guess for a couple of hours. Obviously I'll work the correct price out with whoever does the job.
