I need someone to remove and replace the receiver in my ceiling fan as the old remote no longer works.

My Mercator ceiling fan receiver has stopped working and requires a replacement. I have the part FRM87. Just need an electrician to swap out the new receiver to the fan

A previous Airtasker did a poor job installing a ceiling fan. Instead of securing it properly, he placed a piece of wood and screwed it in, leaving it loose. There is a metal beam available, so the fan needs to be securely mounted to it using a proper bracket or support. The electrical connection is already in place—everything just needs to be connected to the control unit. The job is straightforward: securely mount the fan to the metal beam and complete the wiring. 3 speed ceiling fan. When 1 is selected it is incredibly slow (near useless), 2 is only slightly better while 3 is super fast. We want to see if the 1 and 2 speeds can be increased, possibly by reconnecting wiring for the capacitor or a new capacitor. Note the fan hasn't suddenly broken as it has worked as described above for years. An electrician once looked at it and guessed it was because the fan was 4 speed but the switch on the wall was 3 speed. I am not convinced this is the case
