We are seeking a skilled private chef to cater a gourmet high tea for a baby shower. The menu should reflect a sophisticated, hearty, and delicious dining experience, offering both savory and sweet selections. The event will have a relaxed, cheerful yet elegant atmosphere, and the food should complement this with gourmet, visually appealing dishes that are both delicious and gourmet. The baby shower theme is 'Sun'. The setting will be at our residence in an intimate setting. The kitchen is a good medium size and has an oven, stovetop, small air-fryer and microwave. Menu Requirements: Savory Items: - A selection of gourmet finger sandwiches (no red meats) - Warm savory pastries - Other elegant amuse bouche/canape style savoury items Sweet Treats: - Freshly made scones (served with clotted cream and artisanal jams). - A selection of elegant petite cakes, pastries, and tarts (At least one chocolate-based dessert and one fruit-based option) Tea Service: - We will provide a variety of fine teas and juices which we just need help serving (we have glasses, pots and tea cups). - 2 non-alcoholic signature drinks (drinks/syrups can be provided just need help with serving) Additional Details: Presentation: Dishes should be beautifully presented with attention to detail, incorporating garnishes and decorations appropriate for the baby shower theme. Dietary Restrictions: Please ensure that there are vegetarian and dairy-free options available. Service Style: Would love the food to be served on high tea serving platters (we have some, can be discussed) Service requirements: Chef to please bring all ingredients and relevant equipment (unless otherwise specified), and manage the preparation and presentation of the food. We would really appreciate a clean up of the kitchen and food tables were relevant to end the service. We are looking for a chef who can create a warm and memorable experience with food that both tastes and looks exceptional.
