We are a busy family with two girls under 12 looking for a reliable, organised, and proactive Housekeeper or House Manager to help keep our household running smoothly. This part-time role is 15 to 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Tasks include washing, folding, and putting away laundry, changing linen and towels, keeping the kitchen clean, unpacking the dishwasher, wiping surfaces, tidying rooms, cleaning the fridge, organising groceries, watering plants, and handling a household to-do list. You’ll also arrange trades like window and gutter cleaners. Meal prep includes planning weekly meals, making shopping lists, ordering groceries, putting them away, cooking meals, preparing kids’ snacks (e.g., muffins, protein balls), and labelling and freezing meals. Laundry duties include ironing shirts and jeans, with the option to take some ironing home. Occasional family support may include supervising children and helping with after-school routines. Light outdoor tidying such as sweeping paths or watering plants may be needed. This role suits someone semi-retired, a carer, or an experienced housekeeper. No heavy lifting is required. Must have an ABN. You are reliable, trustworthy, proactive, and organised. You can work independently, enjoy cooking, and have experience managing a home. Being comfortable around children is important. Hours are 15 to 20 per week with flexibility based on our schedule. Additional hours may be available.
