Large, old house in Wayville (5034) needing a clean with some good attention to detail. Two rooms are carpeted, the rest are floorboards except for the kitchen and laundry areas which are tiled. There are two bathrooms but only one of the showers is ever used. I need a thorough oven clean too, but don't want strong smelling chemicals used. It still smells like oven cleaner... Use our cleaning supplies or your own; I'm not fussed. I would like it done on 22 May if possible, any time from 11.00am. Thanks!

Looking for someone who lives as close as possible to Daw Park to establish a flexible routine with household chores help and cleaning. I expect about an hour (or two maximum) each visit and can experiment with whether that is once or upto 3 times a week as suits both parties. Chores most likely to involve dishwasher and washing machine loads, spot and surface cleaning, bins emptied, bed linen changes, and tidying up generally. Timing can be pretty flexible and every second week will have less of a requirement as child custody is week on/off. We mostly work from home and kids are school age so the small 3 bedroom house is well utilized and can go from clean and tidy to chaos in moments. It’s mostly chaos hence this request for casual housekeeping. If meal preparation is in your wheelhouse then we could occasionally incorporate that. We currently have a fortnightly clean on a Friday (today) but would be open to adding that into this position as suits. This is suited to someone who lives nearby, has years of experience running a household and currently has a flexible routine. We are interested in forming a long term working relationship with the right fit for our somewhat alternative household and are not interested in short term arrangements. Bonus points if you have a working with children clearance or any interest/experience in short activities aimed at kids aged 6 to 10. Subject to responses we may meet with several people and repost this ad to facilitate that before we lock someone in ongoing. This initial task fee covers a single initial hour including airtasker fees and of you can let me know your preferred hourly rate moving forward that’d be great.
