I tried to replace some PC parts in order to install a more capable graphics card. Yesterday I purchased a brand new i5 CPU, mainboard (both socket 1700) and RAM (32GB DDR4 DIMM) but when I went to test after building, the machine wouldn't post to BIOS and there were no beep errors. I couldn't get any video output via the onboard graphics or via a dedicated graphics card in the PCIe slot though there's definitely power as the CPU and system fans start spinning once turned on and stop once turned off. Given I haven't built a machine in 5-10 years I'm sure I've just done something stupid or missed a connection on the mainboard... Given the parts are new and standard I can't imagine it being too tricky for someone who knows what they're doing.

In my quest to figure out how I can adjust my screen brightness on my new PC, a youtube video advised me to try to restart my graphics cards, (the integrated one), and as i did, the screen went to blank and now I can't fix it. So I'm hoping you can, and also show my how to adjust screen brightness - as there seems to be ZERO options for it on Windows 11 with my graphics card.

Hi. I need someone to rebuild a PC from one tower casing to another smaller casing. The PC also needs a new SSD put in and also to have the rear fan wired in. There is no fan header on the motherboard. I have a new fan witha 4 pin header and an adapter from 4 pin to molex. The picture is the PC as is and in the current case. I need everything in the case moved to the new case with the new ssd and the rear fan set up and then to just have the PC tested and up and running. I have had someone do this before with another PC we had and it took less than an hour.
