What do computer support services include?

Computer support has evolved from the highly technical tasks of wiring or coding. Nowadays, you can have a tech specialist helping you without the hefty fees or long waiting times. Plus, with technology being the norm, there are so many things that you can have done by a customer specialist – whether it be for your chores or business.

This service isn't just for the technology-challenged, too. Even those who fully grasp software programs and computer parts may need an extra hand now and then.

If you're curious what a computer support technician can help you with, we've listed down a few!

Home office configuration

If you still haven't set up your home office or plan to upgrade, we can connect you with computer network support specialists to help you seamlessly integrate each device into the ecosystem.

You'll be surprised at how many things can get done faster if you wirelessly connect your printer to all laptops and desktops at home or when the Wi-Fi connection extends to all corners of the house. You can even produce a whole live stream video with almost the same quality as a professional audiovisual tech studio with the right home office setup.

E-commerce setup and management

With all of the advances in online shopping and last-mile delivery, opening a digital shop has become more and more enticing to entrepreneurs. There's more opportunity for you to reach your ideal market, even if they live miles away from you.

If your current challenge is setting up your e-commerce store, then you've come to the right place. Taskers can help you get your store up and running, ready to accept orders. If you're a service-based business or just starting out, you can also hire a Wix developer to minimize the costs of a fully coded website.

For product-based shops, you may want to get assistance from product testers, too. You'll get solid feedback without the risk of damaging your brand. They can help you improve your product's formulation, design, and overall quality.

Software troubleshooting

Are you having a hard time with your computer software? Let computer support specialists assist you in checking what's wrong and explaining how to fix it remotely. Taskers aim to be courteous and helpful when working with you. Computers keep evolving, so there's always something new to learn. Even computer science students need tutors, and developers need to attend training. There's no need at all to feel ashamed if a software or iOS prompt confuses you.

If you're ready to get help for your computer conundrum, simply put up a task in our easy-to-use platform to find a specialist near you.

Want to get my old iphone backed up and a new iPhone setup

Help me migrate from Pixel/Android to Iphone

$500

Manly Vale NSW, Australia

14th Mar 2024

I am the only person in my family using Android, on a Pixel phone. I work from home, but actually work on a Mac and Macbook, but run Chrome, Gmail, Calender, contacts, Gdrive etc as my main apps. We all have Apple profiles, and family sharing etc, although both kids are now adults so don't really need family sharing anymore. All family devices are Apple, so it just made sense for me to finally get an Iphone so we can more easily link up with things like calenders, photos, cloud storage, video doorbell, smart-devices etc. My plan is to initially still just run the Google apps such as gmail, calender etc on the iphone. I'm confused that there doesn't seem to be a Google Contacts app for Iphone. I need help transitioning both my work and personal life back to the Apple ecosystem. For example: 1) There are 10 years worth of photos and videos in Google photos - how to move that across to Apple? Do I even need to? 2) Google Drive - I have about 290GB of stuff on Google Drive, both work and personal. How do I move that to iCloud, and again, should I? Should I sync both for redundancy? 3) Should I continue to use the Google system "natively" on the iPhone, or, sync my google apps "into" the Apple apps (eg sync iCal with my Google calendar), or just go 100% Apple as the primary app? Are the Apple apps really that good, or do most people actually use other apps? There are also a huge number of settings on the iphone I have no idea about, so need guidance on those. I need someone probably just for 2-3 hours to point me in the right direction, maybe help with some of the actual transitioning, make sure my security is good, etc. You'd need to be very familiar with both the Google and Apple ecosystems. The first hour or so would probably be just you asking me lots of questions and resisting the urge to roll your eyes at my naivety. Happy to pay a professional rate for professional advice and service.
