My computer has stopped connecting to the monitor recently. I have confirmed the monitor is working and I have tried different cables to connect to it, however I have been unable to get it to connect. I want to get someone to come out and check what the issue is. I'm thinking it's the video card, hoping it's an easy fix considering it's a 6800xt and don't want to buy a completely new one.

I have a Kriesler Solid State record player from the 70s. It’s sentimental but not in working order. The main problem seems to be the belt. It may need to be replaced, but I’m also no expert. Would love to get it playing records again. The turntable is embedded with screws into the unit, and I wasn’t able to remove it. Very few places around to fix, and none locally that will take it for a look. Feel free to ask any questions and I’ll do my best to answer. I have an external hard drive and currently turns on when plugged into a computer but is not recognised/detected. It's not visible in Disk Utility. Require data recovery. I believe it is formatted for Mac and that's what I am attempting to use it on. I have tried different cables to see if that's the issue. It doesn't make a tapping/clicking noise when plugged in, just the normal whirring sound.
