Tech Support Needed: Cost-Effective File Sharing Solution for Small Business My mum runs a small business with about six admin employees, and they currently uses personal OneDrive to share important documents like rosters and client plans. Right now, all files are stored under her account, and staff are granted access. However, as the business grows (planning to add two more admin staff), they need a more efficient but still cost-effective setup—perhaps a proper OneDrive account or another cloud-based solution. As it currently stands, they keep having random issues of losing access and folders disappearing etc They also want an easy desktop shortcut for quick access to shared files. I’ve helped as much as I can remotely from Brisbane, but troubleshooting over the phone has been frustrating for both, and I won’t be able to visit for another month. Looking for someone tech-savvy who can assess the situation and implement a budget-friendly system to streamline file access and sharing. Should be a relatively simple fix for the right person! It would involve setting it up on her computer and the other 6 computers (she will have a team lunch to get them all together). Also, we will be likely to use you again in the future as so many computer things come up that I just can’t help remote! So ongoing work is likely :)

-Collect a click n collect order from officeworks. -Take to laundromat and swap SIM card from current pocket wifi to new 4g modem. -plug new modem into PowerPoint. -Then connect LAN cable from modem to transmitter on the ceiling. -take photo of new wifi name and password for new modem - job done A step ladder will be needed

I have a Brother MFC7860DW printer to add as a wifi printer on 3 computers - one iMac, one MacBook Air and one Windows 11 PC. I don't have the set up disk as the printer is secondhand - but in very good working order (copier works fine). I have a USB cable to connect it but it still doesn't work. I've tried downloading the drivers but again the computers don't recognize it as a new printer.
