I have a windows surface laptop, and want to ensure it’s; - protected from hacking - backed up in case of theft or loss - secure for privacy Looking for a tech genius. Hi there, My Asus Zenbook purchased 5 years ago was probably due for a replacement and last week the screen froze. Since then, it has not been able to activate windows in the regular fashion. It fails to load windows properly and any attempt to utilize the functions of 'restore windows' etc.. has failed to improve the startup. What I need to be done is to recover my files (I haven't backed them up for a couple of years), and potentially reinstall windows so that it could be donated to a charity of some sort. Cheers, Will
