I have a large network of webcams at airports to monitor the weather and one is misbehaving at Hamilton, Vic. There’s two onsite and one is working fine so I know it’s not the router and I suspect it’s not the camera, however it could be. The dodgy one is working on any off. I need someone who knows a bit about HIKVision or PoE cameras or who is good at following instructions, to go there with a laptop, connect to the WiFi and see if the second camera is working. I suspect it might be the cable, so if you have a spare cat 5 maybe 5-10 metres long we can try that. It’s not the router as that has been replaced. The only other thing it could be is the PoE switch getting upset with 2 cameras on it, however I highly doubt that. No rush on the job, in the next week or two is fine. It’s not worth me flying there to get it sorted.
