Our company is looking to place broadcast television monitoring equipment in Australian homes. Participants in this scheme will have all their internet costs covered for the duration of the task. This includes a fully paid, high-quality internet connection provided by Aussie Broadband, with a 100/20Mbps residential service. If you are selected, we will install a second fibre connection for the broadcast monitoring hardware, which will operate independently of your home internet to avoid any disruptions. The equipment consists of a dedicated internet router, a small monitoring box (similar to a set-top box), and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). To qualify, we require the following criteria: • You must be a homeowner, not planning to move • Your home must have or be able to receive a fibre-to-the- premises internet connection • You must have a working digital television antenna with a strong signal • Technical or IT competency • Be able to receive broadcasts: ABC 24, SBS One, SBS Viceland, CNBC Asia (Australia), Channel 7 Sydney, Nine Sydney, 10 Sydney, ABC 1 Sydney For successful installation, it's ideal if you have an antenna port near your NBN hardware or the ability to run an antenna cable to where the equipment will be located. You won't need to configure the hardware beyond plugging in the relevant equipment in to the relevant ports (internet, power, and antenna). However, we may request your help with troubleshooting if needed. We will supply two routers: one for your home internet (you may use your own router with Aussie Broadband if preferred) and a second for our service. Please note any IT or technical computer networking experience in your response, as this is preferred. Also, provide your address so we can confirm eligibility for an Aussie Broadband fibre-to-the-premises connection.

The system data (and associated bin) on my Mac desktop are so huge that I can’t upgrade my iOS or install a new program that I need (I have about 2gb spare) I’ve done everything the internet suggests - my caches are empty, bin empty, I have removed all large files. I’ve installed and used ‘clean my Mac’, I even went into the background and managed to delete some stuff but it’s just gone into a bin that I can’t empty. When I try, it says things can’t be deleted because programs are in use - I have shut all programs down but suspect the issue lies with Messages in someway because although I shut it down, it remains active and the files I tried to delete related to it. For someone in the know, I expect this is the work of moments. A box I haven’t ticked somewhere. So I just need someone to get me across that line before I throw the whole thing out… which I can’t afford to do obviously. If the job turns out to be bigger, I’m open to extending the task.
