Instead of fixing my clearly-stated problem, he told me that my problem couldn't be fixed, and showed me a "work-aournd" means. It's not his fault that my comuter is older and seemingly not capable of certain functions, but perhaps he shouldn't make claims that he can't carry out. A Google search would have given me the same result. Nevertheless, I don't think for a moment that he set out to mislead me, and he was pleasant in his manner.
