Acer laptop currently has Windows. Want to install Ubuntu from ISO image on bootable USB. have some unallocated HDD space to use. Have looked at EFI and Grub bootloader, without success.

(...the right person for the job will understand and be able to handle with sensitivity+++) (But please dont mention it to the client when working with him...again, quite proud) Please help. This listing is for a friend of mine who is based in Wynnum. He's a generally lovely human that has had some really difficult curveballs thrown his way recently from the universe. He's quite proud and usually battles on without complaint (doesn't ask for help much so this is rare). Installed windows 10 and after trying to auto-update yesterday, now, the laptop is stuck on the auto recovery screen and wont boot further from there. Error Message: flashes on the screen occasionally *Stopcode unmountable boot volume* ->The Laptop... If possible, we need to get it back up and running like normal. Prefer not to do a factory reset/wipe as data on computer is not backed up and there is no replacement laptop planned at this stage. -> Job Timing... If possible, it would be wonderful to have this fixed ASAP. Client will be based in Wynnum most of the weekend and is open and flexible with timing. Saturday is preferred as there are family commitments on Sunday (Father's Day)

I need some assistance with connecting my wireless printer to my laptop.

My hard drive has been knocked around in a bag a bit and is running extremely slow to the point of crashing the computer. It makes strained beeping noises before crashing. Any advice or help would be appreciated

I have a cheap hardrive which has been dropped by my 2 yr old. Can you recover the data? it keeps crashing my computer whenever i plug it in.
