We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Meal Prep Assistant to provide in-home meal preparation services for our household in Essendon. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking GAPS diet-friendly meals in alignment with specific dietary requirements. The position is part-time, with a commitment of once every fortnight. Responsibilities: Meal Planning: Collaborate with the homeowner to plan meals based on the GAPS diet guidelines and individual preferences. Meal Preparation: Prepare meals in the homeowner's kitchen, utilizing the provided ingredients for GAPS diet-friendly recipes. Ensure that all meals meet dietary restrictions and preferences. Cooking and Portioning: Cook meals in accordance with dietary requirements, ensuring proper portioning for each serving. Storage and Labeling: Properly store prepared meals, labeling them with clear instructions for reheating. Clean-Up: Clean and sanitize the kitchen area after meal preparation, leaving the workspace in a tidy condition. Communication: Maintain open communication with the homeowner regarding any changes, preferences, or concerns related to meal preparation. Requirements: Previous experience in meal preparation, especially in adherence to specific dietary plans (GAPS diet knowledge is a plus). Ability to work independently and efficiently in a home kitchen. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that meals meet dietary restrictions. Good communication skills to understand and implement homeowner preferences. Flexibility to adapt meal plans based on dietary progression through different stages. Schedule and Compensation: Schedule: Once every fortnight (flexible scheduling). Hours: 5-8 hours Compensation: $20-26 per hour, depending on experience. - Due date: Flexible
