I need a qualified, licensed and EXPERIENCED plumber to do the following job 1) Swap over 1 basin set (each basin set has 2 taps and basin spout ) Swap old washer taps to ceramic disc taps, swap old spout to new one. 2) Swap over 2 wall mounted washer taps in the shower to 2 ceramic disc taps. The spindle of the new taps are too short. These require using either pvc ceramic disc spindle extenders (from Bunnings) and cutting any extra length off, or using an older style shorter spindle extender from a washer tap. The Performa brass ceramic disc spindle body extenders from Reece (product number 9502856) are too long and will not work. I require a Licensed Gas Fitter to Install a NEW Gas Cooktop. The Existing Gas Cooktop will be removed prior so its just installing the gas from the Stop valve to the new cooktop. All existing plumbing and electrical power point is in position. Located in a Modern Apartment in St Kilda. 60cm Gas cooktop.

1 of the 4 burners won’t light up even with a lighter but can sense that the gas is flowing through and another burner does but only with a lighter and not auto ignition .

I have a Miele gas cooktop measuring 58*52cm. The igniter is functioning and gas is being released. When the knob is pressed, it ignites and a flame is produced. However, the flame extinguishes as soon as the knob is released. My tenant reports that she has attempted to clean it, but the flame still won't remain lit. I suspect the issue may be with either the thermocouple or the solenoid valve. I'm considering replacing both components.
