I have a Miele gas cooktop measuring 58*52cm. The igniter is functioning and gas is being released. When the knob is pressed, it ignites and a flame is produced. However, the flame extinguishes as soon as the knob is released. My tenant reports that she has attempted to clean it, but the flame still won't remain lit. I suspect the issue may be with either the thermocouple or the solenoid valve. I'm considering replacing both components. The two gas burners of the Miele cooktop are not working

An older failed electric cooktop has been removed which was direct wired. A new induction cooktop has been installed but requires 32 Amp connection to existing wire. The oven will likely need a new circuit. See attached photo. Flexible about which day from 8 Sept onwards, but sooner the better.

I need some help with one of the burners of my miele cooktop that is not working. When i tried to turn it on it made a clicking noise but no fire come up. When i tried to turn it on by holding the switch and used a match, the fire didn’t stay.

One of My whirlpool gas cooktop’s burner knob doesn’t work. I can suppress the knob and see gas coming and there is spark too. The fire goes out as soon as I leave the knob.
