Put a 2-plug power point somewhere under the countertop in kitchen. One plug for igniter for a replacement gas cooktop. One plug for igniter and controller for a replacement gas oven. Old gas oven has an LED display. That indicates that there is power in/near the oven cavity. Countertop and cupboards are melamine and MDF (in case you need to drill holes). Place was renovated 15 years ago. If you are on site, and it is more complicated, send me pictures and let me know what it will take. Once power points are in, I will get a gas fitter to hook up the new cooktop (already on site) and new oven (once I have one delivered) and to take the old ones for recycling. - Due date: Flexible
Stan responded promptly to my advertisement on AirTasker with a reasonable price and a quick turnaround. He seemed to do a tidy job, though about convenience for the power points he installed, and texted me when he was done. He was helpful in explaining some other aspects of electrical wiring that I had questions about. All good.
