I lost data from external harddrive 3 months ago and you posted a response. Today more issues -Sometimes a usb doesnt register when inserted. Others it says it needs formatting. Other times it registers. I have also lost data/photos which I need recovered from both usb and laptop. I am retired. Havent worked due to health issues and cant afford to be ripped off. data recovery required for my Seagate external HDD model SRD00F1 Disc spins... noises sometimes strange. Drive very occassionally displays on computer but rarely and not long enough to move files. Pretty sure files are not corrupted. I have a new drive for transfer.
