They can inspect the fascia boards, the planks, railings, deck posts, beams and underlying joists. Removing damaged parts
After checking the entire deck, your hired Tasker can disassemble or remove any broken parts or sections before doing repairs. They can remove any nails, fasteners or screws to disassemble damaged joists, fascia boards or planks.Â

Cutting new parts
If your deck repairs involve replacing joists, steps, planks, railings or any other part of your deck, Taskers can cut new parts like these from timber. Some taskers can get the needed timber for you upon request if you don’t have them ready. To avoid any fitting issues, they make sure to cut the timber to the exact measurements of the parts they’re replacing.Â

Installing replacement parts or sections
Your deck repair specialist installs the replacement parts once the planks or other parts are cut to the exact dimensions. They can place the replacement parts at the removed parts' exact location, then attach them to the deck with screws, nails, or any fastening tool. Finishing touches
Once the damaged parts are removed and replaced, your deck repair specialist can check that the replacement part is a perfect fit. I have videos of both decks which explains it more clearly, can send this if needed (airbnb doesn’t allow videos). Two deck repairs: First one is to make some small repairs to the timber supports under this small deck in the front of house. A few of the decking boards have sunk and I believe the timber supports underneath needs to be adjusted. The photo with the arrows shows the area needing fixing. Boards are ecoboards and snap-loc clips are used. I have new decking board and snap-loc clips that can be used. Second one is to add some additional framework to the back deck to fill in where there were plant pots previously. Again I have the deck boards and clips ready to go. Videos explain it better, I can send these.

There are about four or five timber boards on my outdoor deck which have become loose and do not stick in place the wood below them has rot. The boards themselves are all fine, just the timber underneath on a couple is damaged. Not sure on what the best way to repair them is, so looking for some guidance on that. Hi, We need deck in our backyard to be repaired and re-oiled. There is a section of 1 sqm which has a bit of dip with possible rotten underlying stump. Around 70-80 sqm of deck needs to be oiled as well.
