Help me reduce the amount of ‘stuff’ in my life - particularly in the main bedroom (overwhelmed by clothes I don’t wear) and the spare bedroom (that’s right - the dreaded junk room). Looking for a couple of pairs of energetic hands or perhaps an organiser. Expecting to dedicate mornings to the effort, ideally starting next Monday (was Thursday, but now have some commitments later this week). You’ll help sort into piles of keep, chuck, sell, and donate. And organise the ‘keep’ pile in logical and easy to maintain locations, suggesting practical systems for ongoing management. I’m expecting you’ll submit the number of hours you’d be allocating for the given budget, and a bit about why you’d be great for the job. I’m not a decluttering expert myself, so my guess at how long the job will take is unlikely to be reliable. I’m also not willing to post photos of my ‘stuff’ on the open internet. I’d expect the work will happen over 2-3 mornings next week. Ideally 2 - 3 hour sessions. I’ve mentioned the bedrooms specifically because they are where the greatest difference will be made. However there is potential to extend the job to other areas of the house if this engagement proves to be efficient and effective in producing the desired outcome. Cleaning not required, thank you.

$200 day 5 hrs work (or less) Tues 6th & Wed 7th Aug - 12-6pm. Decluttering, culling & tidying 1 BR flat. Hello! I’m Sophie, I’m 41. In March of this year I had major spinal surgery which has been debilitating. I’ll be needing your help with tidying, sorting & culling & with other simple domestic tasks (carrying light items like broken lamp & mirror outside). I’m on the ground floor - easy access downstairs (rubbish & shared garden). I’ve been on my own. 😟😫 Due to injury, pain & immobility a 30 min tasks for most people takes me 3 weeks & depletes so much time & energy. This has had a huge impact on my confidence. I’ve felt useless & helpless. I don’t have any family support. Before the injury & surgery I was extremely independent. I would love an able-bodied companion to help. De-cluttering, sorting, tidying, culling excess stuff. This will also involve carrying/moving some things (e.g plants) one short flight of stairs down to the garden. My energy & physical thresholds are low for lots of reasons - being bed-bound, loss of strength, can’t exercise, pain medication & having 18 months wait before I can start any rehab. A motivated, understanding & compassionate person who can appreciate how chronic pain, injury & immobility leave a person disabled would feel very supportive. I may be over-estimating but I’m putting out the task as for two days of 5 hours help (12-6pm with a 1 hour break) for Tues 6th & Wed 7th August paid $200 per day. Pictured is the end & edges of my bed (clothes etc) & section of the lounge. It’s a very small space & pictured clutter may be tidier before Tuesday 6th. Your help would provide me with such emotional support. $200 for 5 hours work Tues 6th & Wed 7th August (12-6pm with 1 hour break). It may take less time than this. A professional that can reorganise and help declutter wardrobe.

I am moving to a new apartment on the 2nd of July and would like to only bring what is necessary. Female I’ll need help with decluttering shoes, clothes and putting them away, kitchen, bathrooms and miscellaneous items. Help me brutally cull and sort things into throw away, donate and sell. My place is neat and I don’t require a professional organiser.
