My dishwasher had suddenly stopped draining tonight and water is sitting in the bottom. Have taken filter out but that looks ok. When opening the cupboard where the hoses are it seems smellier than usual so am not sure of a rodent or something is causing it.

I had a plumber come out as I had a leaking dishwasher. They advised "possible issue with mice chewing all the pipes. The water inlet is chewed out that's why it was leaking and also the electrical cable has been chewed". As such, require pest control to come out & treat the area to get ride of any mice. Thank you
