What do dog care services include?

Dog care services include a range of different services to maintain delivered by expert dog carers to ensure your precious pup’s well-being. This service can consist of grooming, sitting, training, or boarding your dog - they can be booked singly or in any appropriate combination.

Dog grooming

This is a service that’s not only about keeping or restoring your dog’s appearance. Grooming is also about your dog’s hygiene and overall health, especially if they are longhaired breeds. Most longhaired dogs eventually have problems with overgrown fur clumping up and accumulating dirt and other debris.

Matted hair must be removed as these clumps of fur are not only unsightly but can prove uncomfortable or painful for your dog. You can hire dog groomers to come to your home and provide your dog’s grooming needs; this can include thorough brushing of their fur, trimming overgrown hair and nails and bathing and drying your dog.

Dog sitting

When you need to be away from home and don’t have anyone to watch your pet, this is an essential service. This is especially helpful when you need to be away from home suddenly because you can book the service on short notice.

An expert dog sitter can go to your home to spend some time with your dog, feed them and clean up after they eat. Dog sitters can also keep them company. You may book this as overnight dog care, or as a daily service provided until your return.

Dog Boarding

Another option to ensure your dog is cared for an overnight while you’re away is to take them to a dog boarding facility. This is an excellent service to book when you prefer having your pup in a more social environment.

They can stay in a safe, warm and friendly environment with other animals and remain in the company of expert dog carers for longer. Some dog boarding facilities can give your dog their medications if they have issues or are seniors for an additional fee.

Dog training

When you want to modify your dog’s behaviour and make him more obedient and calm or perform tricks for entertainment, you can book a dog trainer. Dog trainers can teach your dog to respond to your verbal commands or do other more impressive tricks like standing and walking on their hind legs, fetching items, rollover or other tricks your dog trainer can teach them.Â
