The dryer wont stay on for more than a few seconds after a few rotations. Regardless of how much or how wet the cloths. My guess is the sensor needs to be replaced. The model is 10+ years old, so looking for cheap fix otherwise will just buy a new one.

I have a 5kg capacity dryer that needs to be removed and replaced with an identical model. The old dryer (still works) needs to be removed from the site so you would need a car. The dryer space is narrow so the laundry door needs to be unhooked for removal. I have a power tool but just cannot reach to do it myself.
Brad was incredibly helpful and a total professional. He was punctual, communicative and friendly. Really appreciated his quick response to help install my dryer.

My Electrolux 7kg dryer, model EDV705HQWA, has malfunctioned and I'm hopeful it can be repaired. It was making a knocking sound when spinning in one direction but not the other. It did this for about 15 minutes and I was hopeful it would self correct but it did not an no longer spins. The heating still seems fine. When we removed it from the wall it sounded like there was a loose piece in the bottom, do perhaps there's a rod or something that has snapped off? If there is a handy dryer repair person out there who can point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it! - Due date: Flexible
