I had my bike stored for 6 weeks at a friends place when i picked it up everything was fine apart from the breaks had stopped working. I have no idea why. Apparently Nobdy has touched the bike while stored. The bikes make and model are as follows; Velectrix accent 48cm

I have an electric wheelchair hoist in the boot of my car, consisting of a vertical folding post which is bolted to the floor of the boot, and a horizontal arm from the top. It folds up and down. There is a cable running from the fitting around the boot and somewhere joining onto the car's electrical system. I'd like to have the whole thing removed, without damage to the car or the hoist.
