Would like a qualified electrician to check the ceiling fan and wiring to switch to check it is safe. The children have said they sometimes get a slight shock (I have not). It is a basic fan that that plugs into a socket in the ceiling and is powered by a double socket switch on the wall that also turns on the main light (this has not been an issue strangely).
