I’m looking for a qualified electrician to install two pendant lights. One light will replace an existing light fixture in the bedroom on the second floor. The other will be installed in the lounge on the ground floor, where there is currently no light fixture, so wiring will be required. For the lounge light, I would appreciate if you could provide quotes for the following options: 1. Connecting the pendant to an existing circuit (with a standard on/off switch) 2. Installing a new circuit with a dimmer switch option I’ve attached a picture of the new pendant light and the existing light fixture in the bedroom for reference. Please note, you may need a ladder as the ceilings are high, and I don’t have one available. Ideally, I’d like the work to be done on Tuesday 4th February or Friday 7th February. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello, we are keen to change some of our switches to smart switches (LIFX branded), and change some of our lightbulbs to LIFX smart bulbs as well. In detail 1) replace 1 smart LIFX switch in our rental home to the conventional switch 2) replace 7-10 conventional switches at our new place to LIFX switches 3) replace 4 conventional downlights that are 3.4m high to LIFX lights. Other things we hope could be done as well 4) install a MEROSS smart garage into our garage system 5) install a RING wired doorbell (see images) The distance between our rental home and new place is only 3mins drive or 900m away. We have the relevant light bulbs and switches. Thank you!

2 light switches need to be related to wall. Used to be on (now demolished) wardrobe. The light switches are intact and are tucked up in manhole per photo. But of other cables which belongs to non-functioning alarm (and antenna) needs a quick audit, cut and removed. Per photo.

I have 8 downlights which are hardwired in. Two have died and need replacing, and while I have an electrician on site I'd like to replace them all. I want to replace them with a fixture that's not hardwired in, so I can change the bulbs myself in future. I'm happy to source the new light fixtures. See existing downlight in picture attached. I've recently had the switchboard checked for compliance (for rental purposes), so there shouldn't be any issues with it. I need an electricity supply to my balcony - just a standard plug. Walls are all brick veneer (I’m 90% sure). There are PowerPoints on the wall opposite (inside the apartment) and some close by in the dry wall. I do however have two balcony doors on each side, both with a fly screen and a glass door (on the outer), and next to that a glass window the size of the glass door. I also have a balcony light that has two globes, and a split system inverter with its own power switch (power running inside). Not sure if an adapter and some work can covert and draw power from the light (or inverter)? Or even make a tiny hole in the glass window down the bottom to fit an extension cable so we can run the power from inside (see photo). Doesn’t have to be perfect, just needs to work! It’ll be running a power extension cord with a power board to operate an aquarium (filters / heaters / lights etc). Let me know if you want more photos or have any questions. I am keen to see if you can quote for a sorting the door on the dishwasher and checking the electrics. Since it has been broken it has start to cut the electric. We got this 2nd hand so I am deciding if we get a brand new one or if it can be replaced at a reasonable cost. Thanks in advance, James

I need a trench dug 600mm deep to run electrical conduit from foot path to house. Distance is 6m. Minimal obstructions. Ground is soft river soil. I posted the task a couple of weeks ago but had some delays with council. It’s ready to go anytime from now.
