The NBN wall socket is faulty. When I tried to connect the DSL cable, the NBN port inside the socket moved inwards and fell.

My fan is not working now, the motor had a spark after the head dropped and smoke emerged from it. So some kind of electrical issue is preventing the motor from turning over (i think). Perhaps its shorted? I don’t know exactly.
