Electrician Needed – PowerPoints Not Working in New Home (The Gap) Hi, I’ve just moved into a new home in The Gap and need a licensed electrician to investigate and fix an issue with the PowerPoints. All the PowerPoints in the three upstairs bedrooms aren’t working, and a couple on the middle floor are also out. The lights are working fine throughout the house, and some PowerPoints (like in the upstairs bathroom and study) are still working. I’ve already reset the main switch and all circuit breakers, but the issue hasn’t resolved. There’s no obvious sign of a tripped switch or secondary board. It could be a wiring issue, a faulty breaker, or a disconnected loop in the circuit — I’d really appreciate someone qualified having a look. House is accessible and I can be home or arrange someone to be there. We are in the final stages of a master room makeover and need our electrical install completed. Electrical rough in was completed in the early stage. Scope includes: Removal of 1 x fan and 6x existing lights (Outdated and off centre) Install of: 1 x Mirror (LED backlit) 8 x LED downlights (2 x new in wardrobe and 6 replacing existing downlights and centred in the room) 1x Fan (replaced and centred in the room) 4 x light switches 8 x GPO (simply replacing existing GPOs with matching style) We have all of the products to install, so think an hourly rate + additional materials would be best approach.
