Hello there, I am needing an electrician to come out ASAP to my home and quote or just input a new switchboard as the fuses are old and need replacing, please. An electrician came out yesterday to move the power box 180 degrees from the inside of the shed to the outside. However, he’s flagged the fuse and fuse holders need to be replaced ASAP as it could cause a fire. He cannot come out again as he starts another planned job today. He’s also mentioned, the cables are needing replacing and an upgrading of the sub main switchboard. Professional accredited electricians only. We require another power point in the garage on the side I park my car (internal wall) so I can charge my car. There is another power point on the inside of the house close by where I would like the power point on the other side of the wall in the garage - we are unsure if this helps the installation or causes complications. Power point must be suitable for EV charging (AC charging) but open to recommendations if you have other ideas that are suitable. We would also like another light installed in the garage where the internal door is, as the placement of the existing lights when the house was built 3 years ago was not done well. Ideally we’d like this hooked up to the same light switch we have now that turns the other 2 lights on/off. PLEASE provide a quote for both seperate jobs (power point installation + light) so we can assess whether we’d like to do both jobs or just the power point installation alone which is priority.
