A fashion photoshoot is different from other types of photoshoots in that it takes a collaborative effort to pull off. The person with the camera is responsible for making sure that the photos come to life while showing off all the best qualities of the garments that the model is wearing. Briefing

Your fashion photography professional will first request a brief to help them understand your vision and prepare ahead of time. They may also provide some input to contribute to the idea or concept, based on their experience from previous shoots. They’ll ask you about the products, location, mood, lighting, aesthetic, styling, model(s), hair, and make-up.

Mood board

After the brief is done, your fashion photography expert may work with you to create a mood board. Equipment prep

Photoshooting

Once everyone is ready to begin the shoot, they’ll work with the brief and mood board, taking as many photos as needed until they have the perfect shots. Editing photos

Once all the photos have been taken, each photo is edited and polished. Bad shots will be removed and the good shots are put together into a gallery. They may also add a filter to keep all the photos looking consistent (popular for Instagram feed photos).
