Photo shoot for E Commerce Fashion Label
$160
Hunters Hill NSW 2110, Australia
19th Nov 2020
I need photos for a website and social media for a new fashion label. This will be an ongoing opportunity as there will be clothes to be photographed each week. -The clothes will need to be picked up from Sydney inner west -Clothes will need to be worn and photographed in stylish location of your choosing - models size 8-10 and/or size 14-16- aged 18-45. -Photos to be edited to brief -Clothes to be dropped back I do not need a professional photographer- anyone who can take a decent photo and has an eye for style will be considered. This maybe someone who can model, shoot and edit themselves or a team.

What does a fashion photography services include?
A fashion photoshoot is different from other types of photoshoots in that it takes a collaborative effort to pull off. The person with the camera is responsible for making sure that the photos come to life while showing off all the best qualities of the garments that the model is wearing. Here’s what you can generally expect from a standard fashion photoshoot:
Briefing
Your fashion photography professional will first request a brief to help them understand your vision and prepare ahead of time. They may also provide some input to contribute to the idea or concept, based on their experience from previous shoots. They’ll ask you about the products, location, mood, lighting, aesthetic, styling, model(s), hair, and make-up.
Mood board
After the brief is done, your fashion photography expert may work with you to create a mood board. Pinterest is a popular place to create mood boards, by using a shared secret board, where you can add visual references to accompany the brief. You can both use the mood board to share creative ideas, examples, and poses that you’ll be able to use as a reference later on.
Equipment prep
Depending on the shoot location and time of day (sunrise, noon, dusk, or night), your photography professional may decide to bring some specialised equipment along. This may include one or two DSLR camera bodies, zoom lens, wide-angle lens, telephoto zoom lens, Speedlite with batteries, reflectors, tripods, camera batteries, chargers, and memory cards.
Photoshooting
Next, they’ll work with your team of makeup artists, stylists, and models at the shoot location. Your fashion photography professional will first set up their equipment on-site, choosing their camera and lens, while the models get ready with makeup and clothes. Once everyone is ready to begin the shoot, they’ll work with the brief and mood board, taking as many photos as needed until they have the perfect shots. Fashion photoshoots typically take a few hours, but this will depend on the location, type of photos, and how many outfits you need to be photographed.
Editing photos
Once all the photos have been taken, each photo is edited and polished. Bad shots will be removed and the good shots are put together into a gallery. To edit the photos, your fashion photography expert may adjust the RGB ratios, contrast, colour saturation, focus, and other minor details. They may also add a filter to keep all the photos looking consistent (popular for Instagram feed photos). The photo editing process may take a few days, but by the time they’re done, you’ll have a collection of images you can use to promote your clothing line or accessories on social media, your website, and any other marketing materials.
