Hi there, I’m hoping you can assist with an urgent fencing repair at our childcare centre in Ascot. The fence in our large playground is currently leaning significantly and needs immediate attention, as there’s a real risk it could completely topple. It will likely require installing a new post concreted in on the neighbour’s side to securely brace and stabilise it—this will probably be a two-person job. Additionally, as part of upcoming renovations, this fence needs to be replaced with a special acoustic fence. We’re looking for someone with experience installing acoustic fences who can advise us and provide a quote. It’s essential you have experience with fencing repairs and installations, especially acoustic fencing, as safety and quality workmanship are critical given our childcare setting.

Repair job for a short shared boundary fence between my property and the neighbouring property. Some posts appear to be damaged and need to be replaced. Due to the damaged posts, the fence was on a lean so a temporary make safe has recently been applied to ensure the fence doesn’t fall over. Please note because this is a shared fence I will need someone to prepare a quote which I can share with my neighbour for their approval, before undertaking the repair work, because we will be sharing the cost of the job.

The front gate was damaged in the last flood. It has been repaired once since. It’s a powder coat aluminium post and latch. I just need a temporary fix to stop the gate from opening the other way.

There are 7 palings in total. 3 need replacing and the other 5 just need to be hammered in. Access across the pool provided with scaffolding. Fence wood replacement will be paid on top. No painting required

This is a timber fence in good condition. The fence has about a 10 degree lean. It seems the footings may be inadequate for the weight of the fence. Appreciate it may cost more than the offered price. Offered to simply get a quote and will negotiate on the actual job price when you attend. Otherwise, the fence is fine and there is no repair required to the posts rails or palings Length of approximately 10 m and issue seems to be five posts Happy to consider interim posts if this is the best solution, however prefer to use existing posts and make the fence properly vertical.

A section approx 3.5 m need a replacement bottom rail and replacement posts

We have a 1.2 kg Chihuahua that hangs around with her 78 kg Rottweiler brother and unfortunately this rental has holes in the fence that can expose her to the road. I need the holes filled with wood or bricks and I need the gate fixed or replaced on one side.

Post holding sliding gate has been pushed and this has caused the bolts to be uplifted slightly (post is now on slight lean) Need bolts removed, apply concrete glue, then install new dynabolts so post is vertical so gate slides smoothly. You supply dynabolts and concrete glue

We have glass pool fencing supported by powder coated posts on a wooden deck. Job 1 - a glass panel has shifted away from one of the posts, causing the gate to sag. The glass needs to be removed, panel replumbed to be vertical and glass reinstalled / glued etc. Job 2 - There is also a second gate that’s not closing well. The gate hits the latch. My guess is easier repair than job 1. Job 3 - one other panel is coming away from a post. More minor fix than job 1. Photos in order of jobs above. Need contractor with demonstrated experience in similar repair jobs for pool fences, ideally glass panels.
