I have a wooden gate that is jamming when I open and close it. The wood is starting to come apart. We think it need taking off and the screwing together/repairing and then rehanging. Would also like to rehang it higher so there is room between the gate and path. Once the gate is rehung would like the holes where the gate was screwed in filled and sanded. I’m looking to replace our picket fence gate to our courtyard as the timber frame has rotted and split over time. I’m hoping for a new frame to be made whilst saving the current pickets and nailing them onto the new frame. The side timber posts also need to be replaced (as shown in the photos) and also new latch, hinges and soft closer needs to be installed. Cheers!
