I’m wanting an existing timber fence repaired. The fence was built last year, but very poorly done. Not straight, not level, wrong fixings ect. I’ve had three posts repositioned and the fence is now straight. The issue that remains is the top capping is not level, due to the top rail being so out of level. My only thoughts on fixing this would be to cut down the fence below the top rail and put in a new rail that’s plumb. Fix all the palings back on the new top rail and install new capping. The fence is 10m x 1.3m high. Put in your quote price, not $5. Also mention what your offer includes.

Wont take you long, need to bring nail gun, saw and you pick up treated pine palings in total 28 palings collect from a bunnings store. Permission is allowed in neigbours yard. House block with side fence from the house that extends to the side boundary. I need someone to Demo existing timber fence (approx 4m)and build a Replacement fence to be of timber paling or colourbond whichever is more efficient. The fence must have a pedestrian gate that forms part of the fence between the house and the boundary fence. Current gate has a steel frame in good condition and may be reused but I think it’s too heavy (potentially needs hanging from the house not a post).
