The top half of the mailbox will need to placed into the fence and a hole cut and the lip around the mailbox holds it in place. There may be some screwing/gluing involved as well to secure the mailbox so it doesn't get stolen and sits in place correctly. Shouldn't take very long with someone with the right tools.
