I need a fireplace removed from the kitchen and INSTALLED into the lounge room I have tiles to replace any required. A hole will need to be cut in the ceiling and the flu installed into the roof and made water tight using the lead flashing.

We are looking to get a stone hearth made up to sit over and around our existing hearth. We are hoping for it to cover the existing hearth on the top and three sides (pencil rounded on the outside corners), and be made of a dark stone-style reconstituted piece (i.e., dark with marble-style veins running through it). The existing hearth dimensions are 1780mm wide, 300mm deep and 40mm tall. Our target size for the stone piece is 1830mm wide, 325mm deep and 55mm tall (if using 10mm thick stone). I need to get this fireplace removed. It's all gyprock framed. The fireplace is bio ethanol and there is no gas connection. All power points will be disconnected prior so the job is just removal of the fireplace and removal of rubbish. With the right tools and expertise shouldn't take longer than 1.5-2 hours.
