Calling out the builders, carpenters and skilled handy-people interested in constructing a fake fireplace. The wall currently has a gas log fire on a pedestal, which I am replacing with a new heater and I need a construct a fake mantle and chimney to conceal the heater. Above the heater will be a tv, recessed into the chimney. The heating appliance expert will install and fit the heater to guarantee the warranty. On either side of the heater will be a small bench seat with a cavity underneath to house baskets for storage. The bench seats will provide access to cables, power points and the gas connection. Wood can be pine as I intend to paint it to match the wall.
