I have an old fireplace which had a gas space heater that I recently got removed. I have capped the gas and electricity connection (with help from an hvac tradie) as I no longer intend to use it as a fireplace. Need help with cleaning it and then plaster it from inside followed by a coat of paint. At the moment, just seeking quotes to know the costs involved.

Not sure what brand it is and there's a switch on the wall to turn it on & off. When the switch is pressed you can hear the gas turning on but no fire. Fee is for call out and to identify the problem, will pay extra for any repairs
